United Confederate Veterans Camp Records

We recently received copies of the United Confederate Veterans Cabarrus County Camp 212 records, from Louisiana State University. The documents include several units rosters as well as listings of delegates and alternates for several national conventions. Available in Adobe PDF format.

Cabarrus County Soldiers' Compiled Service Records

The Camp will start posting the compiled service and pension records of Cabarrus County soldiers on the web site in Adobe PDF format. View Company H, 8th North Carolina's Captain Rufus A. Barrier compiled service record. Also available are George Washington Page and his brothers Danial (A.M.) Page, Hardy Page, William Page, all from Mt. Pleasant. We also have service records for Isaac N. Pharr and William Propst.

"Our Confederate Sons"

Local poet Lana Ross wrote a poem especially for the Cabarrus Guards Camp entitled "Our Confederate Sons". The poem has been printed in several publications and can be read in it's entirety here.
